EPPC Albania, on behalf of its client a leading company in the real estate industry with a strong presence across local and international markets, is currently recruiting a Senior Finance Specialist.

Essential Responsibilities:

Support the Finance Manager in monthly, periodic and annual financial closing and the preparation of financial statements;

Prepare periodic management and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders;

Perform monthly actual vs. budget analysis and identify relevant variances;

Prepare monthly analyses of revenue and expenses according to the company’s business activities;

Periodically review general ledger accounts and related reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data;

Prepare monthly calculations and reporting schedules in accordance with IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16;

Review and monitor monthly tax declarations prepared by the Finance team;

Prepare and follow up on the company’s Group Reporting Package in coordination with other Group companies;

Prepare periodic reports related to Group companies and intercompany activities;

Contribute to strengthening internal financial controls and continuously improving finance and accounting processes;

Review departmental procedures and recommend improvements based on business needs, applicable legislation and internal systems;

Participate in the inventory and analysis of company assets in cooperation with the Procurement Department;

Monitor sales and marketing projects by performing the relevant financial analyses and reconciliations;

Collaborate with internal and external auditors and prepare the required supporting documentation.

Requirements for this position are:

University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field;

Relevant experience in finance, accounting and financial reporting, including financial closing and financial statement preparation;

Strong knowledge of accounting, tax legislation and IFRS, particularly IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16;

Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central is an advantage;

Very good command of English, both written and spoken;

Strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility, proactivity and openness to change.
