As an AWT Engine Officer onboard MSC Cruises, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of auxiliary systems critical to ship performance. You will ensure that all machinery under your supervision operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with maritime regulations. Working closely with the Chief Engineer and the technical team, your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of the vessel and the comfort and safety of both passengers and crew.

Relevant maritime qualifications and certifications required for AWT Engine Officer duties.

• Proven experience in the same or similar role aboard cruise ships or comparable vessels.

• Fluency in English (oral and written); additional languages are an advantage.

• Strong technical knowledge of auxiliary machinery and preventive maintenance procedures.

• Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

• Flexibility to work onboard a cruise ship, including extended contracts and shifts.

- Mandatory vaccinations: MMR and Varicella.

- Valid STCW 78 as amended / STCW 2010 certificates (STCW 95 certificates are not accepted)
